No. The card is a one-time purchase and the app is free. Nothing renews.

Every screen-time limit on your phone comes with a way to skip it. The card lives somewhere else. Once you tap to block, the only way back in is to go and get it.

Screen Time is a limit you can lift with a passcode you already know. The card isn't on your phone, so leave it in another room and the distance does the enforcing.

No. No battery, no Bluetooth, nothing to pair or update. It's a card.

The app has an emergency unlock, so you're never locked out of your own phone. Order a replacement and your settings carry over.

Yes. Pair as many as you like to one phone: one at the office, one at home, one in the car. Any of them will lock and unlock.

Yes. You hold the card, they don't. It only locks the apps you both agreed on. It doesn't track where they are or report on what they do.

Yes. Download it from the App Store. The card is the one-time purchase that makes blocks stick.

Any NFC-enabled iPhone works. If your iPhone can use Apple Pay, it can read the card.

Any app on your iPhone. Pick them in the app, save them as a mode (bedtime, work, weekend), and tap to switch it on.

You can block Safari and other browsers outright. Blocking individual sites while leaving the browser open isn't something we do yet.

Download the app, pick the apps you want gone, then hold the card to the top back of your iPhone. That's it. Stuck? Email hello@disconnectcard.com.

Calls and texts keep working, and you choose which apps lock. Maps still opens. The group chat doesn't. If you're truly stuck without the card, the app has an emergency unlock.

No. Your block lists and screen-time data stay on your phone. We can't see them.

We don't sell it, share it, or look at it. For companies and schools, admins only ever see cohort totals like hours reclaimed. Never names, never who scrolled.
